This unique, custom built, Pueblo style, rammed earth home is over three thousand square feet. Soledad Canyon Earth Builders of Las Cruces, one of the most successful and award winning, rammed earth builders in New Mexico, crafted every detail of this dream home. The 18" thick earth walls will wrap you in quiet and comfort. The unique ceiling treatments in each room will draw you from room to room as the radiant heated floor warms the tile beneath your feet. The views from the picture windows of the gourmet kitchen include the Gallinas Mountains in Cibola National Forest. Watch the sunset behind the mountains as you relax in the hot tub. With high speed internet connectivity and all of the upgrades this home has to offer, you will enjoy living the country life.

Rammed earth construction resembles adobe construction. Both use soil mixed with waterproofing adatives. However, even with the waterproofing additives, adobe requires dry weather so that the bricks can harden enough to build walls. In rainy parts of the world, builders developed "rammed earth" construction. A mixture of soil and cement are compacted into forms. Later, the forms are removed. Rammed earth buildings are environmentally-friendly and fire and termite resistant.
At an elevation of 6800 feet, you will experience all 4 seasons without being too cold in the winter or too hot in the summer. Skylights bring in the natural sunlight during the day. You'll wake in the middle of the night thinking it is daylight only to find a beautiful full moon, lighting the land outside. The star filled skies will make you wish you had taken astronomy in school.
Maintenance free Barnmaster barn has 2 shed row stalls with 8' overhang and oversized 12x24 enclosed tack room. The tack room also has access for 4 dogs to curl up in individual houses off of their custom built dog runs. The barn includes 2 pastures fenced with solar powered electric rope and cedar posts.
There is also a 70 foot stained cedar post and 2x6 constructed round pen for the horses.
Adjacent to over 20,000 acres of Cibola National Forest, you will find endless trails for hiking and riding as you discover new scenery and ancient history right out your back door. Watch the antelope, deer and elk wander the surrounding fields. Search for arrowheads and remains of old homesteads.
Enjoy the colorful wildflowers and cactus that bloom from spring to fall.
